About Living at the Tideline

To live at the tide line is to embrace the intrinsic duality of the human experience.  We are water and we are earth, formlessness and form, timeless and finite.  There are moments when we might get lost in one or the other; swimming in the deep blue grey waters of spirit or consuming the vast richness of the material world.  Living at the tide line means committing to spend most of the time, however,  walking in the delicate balance between heaven and earth; feeling the ground solid beneath our feet while the water laps over our toes, seeing the expansiveness of the horizon and the potentials of the shore.

Some days the waves lap gently at our feet as the sand slowly warms our toes, some days the waves pound at the shore and the dry scorching sand burns our feet.  And yet we keep walking.  We keep our gaze directed on Truth, our heart open to the fullness of the human experience.

We are god incarnate, spirit in form, we are the vessel and the substance, the container and the liquid, we are one and we are all, we are here and we are home.  We are travellers and we are the journey itself.  We are living at the tide line.
